The safety and well-being of the students who take part in the Global Young Leaders Summit (GYLS) is our number one priority.  GYLS is highly structured and thoroughly evaluated for quality and safety. We will not take our students into areas where we think safety may be in question.  If conditions exist which make it impossible for us to provide a safe program, we will alter the itinerary and route the program to safer areas.

GYLS is directed by a full-time staff of professional educators, all of whom have previously led Congressional Youth Leadership Council programs. Scholars are supervised by professional faculty advisors and staff, at a ratio of 20-to-1.
