Spring 2009 Summer 2010
Summer 2010

Tuition for Junior National Young Leaders Conference (JrNYLC) is $1,890 for spring and summer 2010 sessions. Tuition includes all housing, program materials, breakfasts, lunches (with the exception of arrival and departure days) and dinners. Transportation to and from the conference location is not included. Scholars will need money only for incidentals (phone calls, snacks, etc.).

Fundraising
The Congressional Youth Leadership Council (CYLC) makes every effort to assist students with gathering funds for part or all of their tuition through fundraising and scholarships.

To check out our easy-to-use online Student Fundraising Guide, click here. You will find helpful step-by-step instructions, customizable letters, fundraising ideas and success stories from past CYLC scholars.

Don't forget to contact the Office of Admissions if you decide to fundraise all or part of your tuition to keep us updated on your progress or if you have any questions.

If you or one of your sponsors have fundraising checks to send in, please use this form to submit them. Including this form with the checks will help us to allocate the funds quickly and accurately.

Scholarship Application
All scholarship application deadlines for spring 2010 JrNYLC sessions have passed. It is too late to apply for a scholarship.

Scholarship applications for summer 2010 sessions of JrNYLC are not yet available. Please check this page for updated information in late March.

In the event that you are preliminarily granted an award, your notification letter will ask you to finalize the award through submitting a copy of your 2008 1040 Federal Income Tax Form (from the individual who claimed the scholar as a dependent). The Federal Income Tax form serves as proof of financial need as indicated upon the applicant's Scholarship Application. The Congressional Youth Leadership Council cannot grant any scholarship money without receiving sufficient proof of income. If you have questions, please contact the Office of Admissions.

Scholarship applicants should expect e-mail notification of the review results within two weeks of the scholarship deadline. Scholarship applicants who did not provide an operable e-mail address will receive their review results by mail shortly thereafter.
