Tuition for the Global Young Leaders Conference (GYLC) includes all housing, program materials, breakfasts, dinners and private motor coach transportation during the conference. Students will need money only for lunches and incidentals (phone calls, snacks, etc.).

Attention GYLC nominees! If you wish to pay by international wire transfer, please e-mail wire_transfers@cylc.org.

Tuition does not include transportation to and from the arrival and departure cities.

Tuition and Travel Protection Plan

To protect and safeguard the investment parents and students make in program tuition and travel costs, we strongly recommend that you take advantage of our Tuition and Travel Protection Plan offered through Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. This valuable coverage reimburses for expenses due to late or cancelled flights, replacement of lost luggage or personal items, baggage delays, illness or injury, medical expenses and many more items. Sponsorships and Student Fundraising Guide
The Congressional Youth Leadership Council (CYLC) makes every effort to assist students with gathering funds for part or all of their tuition through fundraising and scholarships.

You will find helpful step-by-step instructions, customizable letters, fundraising ideas and success stories from past CYLC scholars. Don't forget to contact the Office of Admissions if you decide to fundraise all or part of your tuition to keep us updated on your progress or if you have any questions.

If you or one of your sponsors have fundraising checks to send in, please use this form to submit them. Including this form with the checks will help us to allocate the funds quickly and accurately.

Scholarship Application
The Global Young Leaders Conference is committed to ensuring the diversity of our program by awarding a limited number of scholarships to students based on financial need, scholastic merit, leadership achievements and other factors.

If you have received a formal invitation for 2013 GYLC sessions: We regret to inform nominees that at this time the scholarship application deadline for the summer sessions has passed. We regret any inconvenience this may cause, and encourage scholars to leverage the tools offered through our easy-to-use online, interactive Sponsorships & Student Fundraising Guide.

Scholarship applicants should expect e-mail notification of the review results within two weeks of the scholarship deadline. If you have questions, please contact the Office of Admissions.
