Well, it started off with my science teacher selling candles. Then I jumped in. Then we started bringing in candy to school to sell at school. SALES WENT THROUGH THE ROOF! My mom is a realtor, so she faxed some fundraising letters that we got from this site to some of the people we knew. Our family dentist even sent $100. The guys who fix our car sent $100. The city and my sister's 2nd grade teacher sent in $100. My elementary school sent $100. The greatest donation was from a lawyer my mom knew. She sent $500! Thanks to all of those people, I am joining the conference this summer 2005!
