The Congressional Youth Leadership Council (CYLC) offers dynamic experiential education programs that focus on leadership development and inspire high-achieving young people from around the world to achieve their full potential.
CYLC’s young leaders meet with high-ranking government officials, members of Congress, diplomats, media figures and more—all while partaking in a diverse curriculum and interactive signature simulations. Students gain unprecedented behind-the-scenes access, briefings and events—all of which contribute to the rarest academic experience of a lifetime.

The Junior National Young Leaders Conference (JrNYLC) is a unique leadership development program. JrNYLC introduces students to the rich tradition of leadership throughout American history, while helping them develop their own leadership skills. Learn more.

Alumni Programs
The Global Young Leaders Summit (GYLS) is a leadership development program for alumni university students from around the world. During the program, participants explore the issues and challenges currently facing international leaders. Learn more.
The Presidential Youth Inaugural Conference (PYIC), a five-day program, is held every four years for high school-aged alumni of CYLC or National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF) programs. PYIC provides these students the chance to participate in the historic events of a United States presidential inauguration. Learn more.
The Junior Presidential Youth Inaugural Conference (JrPYIC), a five-day program, is held every four years for CYLC and National Young Scholars Program (NYSP) alumni, who will be in the 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th grade at the time of the inauguration. Learn more.
