The safety and security of the students who take part in the Junior National Young Leaders Conference (JrNYLC) is our number one priority. Our programs are planned, organized and highly structured to provide a comfortable, safe and secure environment at all times for our students.

Program staff who are specifically dedicated to student safety 24 hours per day, monitor and follow any instructions issued by local authorities and security personnel at all times, and will, if necessary, adjust the program schedule and itinerary.

JrNYLC is directed by a full-time staff of professional educators, all of whom have previously led Congressional Youth Leadership Council programs. Scholars are supervised by professional faculty advisors and staff, at a ratio of 17-to-1. Students are accounted for at all times, are required to attend all activities and must stay with the Conference at all times unless written permission is given by a scholar's parents.
