FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Sponsorships & Student Fundraising Guide

The Congressional Youth Leadership Council (CYLC) makes every effort to assist students with gathering funds for part or all of their tuition through fundraising and scholarships.

To check out our easy-to-use online, interactive Sponsorships & Student Fundraising Guide, click here. You will find helpful step-by-step instructions, customizable letters, fundraising ideas and success stories from past CYLC scholars.

Don't forget to contact the Office of Admissions if you decide to fundraise all or part of your tuition to keep us updated on your progress or if you have any questions.

If you or one of your sponsors have fundraising checks to send in, please use this form to submit them. Including this form with the checks will help us to allocate the funds quickly and accurately.

Scholarship Application

To offset the cost of tuition, CYLC has established a scholarship fund to assist youth who wish to participate in the program. However, because scholarship funds are limited and because demand is extremely high, a variety of factors are considered in the allotment of aid. The primary consideration is financial need, followed by academic merit and student involvement in extracurricular and volunteer activities.

If you have received a formal invitation to a summer 2012 sessions of the Junior National Young Leaders Conference Alumni Boston: your scholarship application deadline is Friday, May 4, 2012.

Apply Now
You will need your Student ID (located on your Enrollment Application and in your Enrollment Confirmation Materials) and a valid e-mail address to log in and complete the scholarship application.

Scholarship applicants should expect e-mail notification of the review results within two weeks of the scholarship deadline. Scholarship applicants who did not provide an operable e-mail address will receive their review results by mail shortly thereafter.

If you have questions, please contact the Office of Admissions.
